We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 2nd World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy), from April 28-30, 2016, in Paris, France.  In preparation for this upcoming event, we would like to provide you with the below information for your perusal before traveling to join us at the COMy Congress:

Scientific Program

A special pre-congress session, "A patient's perspective" will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 15:15-17:15.

The Opening Session starts at 17:45 on Thursday, April 28 and will include the presentation of the COMy Multiple Myeloma Achievement Awards.

Registration and Hospitality Desk

The Registration Desk will operate during the following hours:

Please visit the Registration Desk upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the COMy Program Book, your personal name badge, etc.

Please remember to wear your name badge to all Congress activities and social events.

Welcome Reception

The COMy Welcome Reception will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 20:00-21:00, all registered participants are invited to join us!


Please note that all Congress activiites will take place at the Marriott Congress Center of the Hotel, Level -1

Invited Speakers Presentations

Speakers are requested to visit the
preview room no later than 1 hour prior to the session in which they are scheduled in order to upload their slides to the hall.


Poster Presentations
Posters will be available for viewing on-site over the 2 main days of the Congress (Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30).

Posters should be mounted on the boards provided on-site on Thursday afternoon (April 28) or Friday morning. Mounting material will be provided by the Congress Secretariat.

Please check your poster number in your Congress Program Book.

Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters to answer questions during the breaks as scheduled in the Program.

Please remember to dismantle your poster at the end of the Congress, Saturday, no later than 16:00. The Congress Organizer is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time!

Prior to booking flights, participants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a Visa to travel to Paris, France. Information about Visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website:

Dress Code

Informal for all occasions

If you don't mind bringing a light coat, you will enjoy visiting Paris in April – average daytime temperatures
are 15 °C (60°F), an average low of 7°C (44°F) can be expected in the evenings.
Photography and Recording Policy

Participants are asked to be respectful of their colleagues by turning off all cell phones and PDA devices before entering the session hall.

The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, nor loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from the 2nd congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy). Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
